Your dad was the world champ of surfing in 1976. As a kid, did you ever dream of following in your dads footsteps?
Yes, I thought about itbut skating was more appealing and in a way, it was following in his footsteps because I went pro in something.

I remember seeing you skate C.A.S.L. events back in the late 90's. Were those contests as fun as say the World Cup events now?
It's way more pressure with the World Cup eventsback in the C.A.S.L. days, it was fun just going to the contest and getting to skate with your friends.

You came up quick with your part in Transworld's 'Sight Unseen'. How old were you when you filmed that part?
15 years old.

When you feeble grinded El Toro, what at the time was going through your head? You were like the third person ever to skate that monster!
Yes, I think I was only the 3rd person to skate thatI was thinking just go for itno time to think, go, go, go.

You rode for Birdhouse flow for a hot second. Did you start out on the same program with Element or did they put you right on the team?

Was Network 17 your first real sponsor in skateboarding?
