So you just recently turned Pro. Has your life changed since then?
No, not really. I still do the same things. I guess my responsibility to my sponsors just got a bit more intense. I just got to step my game up because all these AM kids are coming up!

Do you feel like there is a big difference from being AM to Pro these days?
Paychecks? It's just the responsibility of having your name on a board and making sure kids are feeling you. When you're an AM you are just fighting to get coverage and get your name out there. There is a difference but not much. Most AM's do Pro contests these days and sometimes win. Look at GVR this year!

As an AM, did you have a mentor who you looked up to or somebody you felt was doing what a Pro skateboarder should do?
Not really. I mean I had guys who I liked to watch skate but I didn't have someone I was always going out with on missions and asking questions about certain things. I just pretty much did things the way I wanted to and let everything fall into place. Koston would have to be the guy that I have always been hyped on. He's been solid on a skateboard for as long as I have been alive.

You always seem to have a positive outlook on things. Does Sierra Fellers ever snap?
Of course I snap. I think everybody does. I try and keep it low key if kids are around but I have my moments when things are going right! It happens but not all the time.

You always do well in contests. Do you have any desire to take those skills to the Dew Tour next year?
Yeah, I will be there next year! Me and baby ice will be hitting those up for sure. I am coming for you Sheck dog!

Foundation took 2nd in "King of the Road" this year. How was the trip and do you think Blind won because they had the Broach factor?
The trip was fun. It was the most traveling and skating I have ever done in a two week period. We would skate for hours and then drive for more hours then we would skate. It's a pretty draining experience but at the same time a ton of fun! And Blind didn't win because of Broach. They won because of Jake Dumcombe!

Can we expect a shoe from Circa with your name on it any time soon?
Hopefully in the next year or so. I really don't know when it will be out. I have done a few designs already but these things take time. I have some sample stuff that I should be getting soon.

So you had two solid video parts this past year from both Circa and Foundation. What videos are you looking forward to seeing in the coming year?
Ah man. Actually I just saw a video that 411 produced called 'Via Marina' and that was really good. My roommate has a part and the editing and filming are really good. Other than that of course I am looking forward to seeing 'Fully Flared'. Isn't everybody?!? The Flip video should be a good one.

Who in your mind is the top Pro and AM in skateboarding right now?
Top Pro in my book is Peter Ramondetta! I have two AM's, is that cool? Windsor James and Dennis Durrant.

You got the cover and a huge interview in Thrasher this year. How did you feel when you saw the cover for the first time?
I was so hyped! Yeah I didn't even know. Actually they told me that I wasn't even going to get the cover. I thought someone else was going to get it. So I wasn't even expecting it. Then I saw Jake Phelps at the Amsterdam AM and we were at a premiere. He was like "You're getting the cover kid". I was like "Are you serious?" I was so happy. It made my whole trip.

What do you miss about just being a kid who skated with friends back in Montana?
Not having responsibility. I used to skate a few blocks from my house and meet up with like 10 to 15 guys and skate a manhole. We would just do flat ground tricks over it and then we would take what we learned to this curb cut hip. Back then nothing mattered. We were just having fun learning and I do miss that.

We all know you love to skate. What else does Sierra Fellers like to do?
I like to sleep. Video games are fun. I have also been golfing quite a bit and that's fun. Hang out with my GF.
