When you were a kid living in Vancouver how was the skate scene? Was the legendary Richmond Skate Ranch a big part of your coming up?
It was a full Pogo vibe. Everyone knew each other. There were the bowls, the ranch or downtown. I lived downtown so that's what I skated. Winters were rough but the Skate Ranch and underground parking lots would save us.

You turned pro for Blockhead skateboards what year was that and was 'Splendid Eye Torture' your first pro part?
I turned pro in 1990 at the "Back to the City" contest in SF. I puked before my 1st run. I went after Tony Hawk and before The Gonz.

How was the transition in 1990 from Blockhead to Plan B? How did that come about?
It was hard because Dave Bergthold was a good bud. He did a lot for me. It all kind of happened while I was in Europe for the Munster contest 1991.

In 'Questionable' was it your choice to use "Grey Cell Green" by Neds Atomic Dustbin? And what's some of your favorite bands now days?
We tried a few different songs and that one stuck. These days I'm all over the place. A lot of Fleetwood Mac lately.

I would have to say that you have been in two of the best videos ever made 'Questionable' (Plan B 1990) and 'Mouse' (Girl 1996). Which one did you have the most fun working on?
They were both fun in their own ways. I had no responsibilities but to flare around for the Plan B video and for Mouse it was fun working behind the scenes.

When you and Mike Carroll were filming for FTC'S Penal Code 101 how was the scene up in San Francisco then compared to now?
Souls of Mischief/Hyphy.

Your 9th video part is due to drop this year in the highly anticipated 'Fully Flared'. What can the kids out there expect from this?
I can't wait to see it but be ready to fast forward my part.

What are your day-to-day duties at Girl Skateboards?
PTS reports and lunch vibes with Tim Gavin.

You just recently got back from a trip to Spain with Guy Mariano. How was that and is Guy still as amazing as he's always been?
We stayed with Federico and Oliver Barton. Mean home cooked meals and good times. Guy will always be amazing.

Did you know that when you Google your name the first thing that comes up is that you're a pastor in like Mississippi? Is there're something your not telling us?
It's something I like to do with my spare time.

One last question, what did you think about the Holiday catalog photo shoot we did for CCS?
Santa's got a mean street plant.
