Name and Occupation? Peter Ramondetta, Pro skater. Who do you ride for? Real skateboards, Circa shoes and clothing, Spitfire wheels, Thunder trucks, Roughneck hardware and CCS. When and where did you first start skating? Was there much of a skate scene where you grew up? I started in the early 90's in a small town called Guthrie in Oklahoma. It was just me, my brother Victor and a few of his friends. There was not really a scene there. What were some of the first videos you saw that inspired you? The first video that inspired me was the Blind video 'Days'. I was a little kid so I really liked Guy Mariano's part. It showed me that a kid could still kill it. How did you get on the Real team? I sent a video and was getting flow at first. Then Mickey asked me to go on a trip to Phoenix and after that I got on. Was 'Seeing Double' your first video part? 'Seeing Double' was my first Real part but I had one part before that in a local Houston video by my friend Big O. The AC/DC song you used in the Circa video fits your part perfectly. Was that the song you chose or did Lee Dupont suggest it to you? That was one of my top choices I gave Lee and it worked out the best. Whose idea was it to collaborate your new Circa shoe with Real? It looks really good. Is there just one color way? Real and Circa kind of work together on supporting me but I'm not too sure whose idea it was. Yeah, there is a brown and tan colorway that should be out soon. What can the skate world expect from Peter Ramondetta in 2007? I am working on a new part for the new Real Video that will be done sometime in 2007. Any last words or advice to the person reading this right now? Keep on givin'er. |
